  • When you press this button once, the service port indicators enter PoE mode and show the PoE status of each service port.
  • The second time you press this button, the service port indicators will return to the default mode and show the connection status and link activity of each service port.

If you do not press the MODE button within 45 seconds, the service port indicators will return to the default mode. In this case, the PoE indicator is turned off.

The arrowheads show the location of the ports. The down arrowhead indicates the port at the bottom, and the up arrowhead indicates the port at the top.

The meaning of the service port indicators varies in different modes. For details, see Table 4-31 .

NOTE:

If a power failure occurs on the device's circuit board, the indicators for the last four GE or 10GE optical ports on the device's front panel will flash green cyclically at an interval of 1 second, with each indicator remaining on for 0.25 seconds.

Power system

The switch has a built-in AC power module and does not support replaceable power modules. The built-in power module can deliver 400W PoE power, which provides full PoE power on 24 ports in the 802.3af standard or on 13 ports in the 802.3at standard.

Heat dissipation system

The switch has two built-in fans for forced air cooling. Air enters from the left side and front panel and exits from the right side.

When properly operated at normal temperatures, the device meets desktop-class noise requirements. However, the fan speed may be high and the noise may be loud when the device starts.

This figure only shows the air flow direction and does not represent the actual device.
